Is it problematic to take a 1.5-year gap to study to get admission in MBA? Will it affect me during my placement in college?

Hi,
If you are not going to work during the gap period and only prepare for exams then you need to show that you were busy in other activities like internships, volunteering, short certificate courses etc. But if you are planning to take up a job then thats a good plan too.
All the best.

Hi,
if you are taking this gap for job, its quite valid and appreciated as it will help you in two ways:
1. Work experience is preferred by most of the reputed PGDM/MBA institutes.
2. It will give you clarity on what specialisation you should pursue as job will provide you enough exposure.

Just see if they place you well after MBA then you may choose it.
