Is it really true that doing BBA is total foolishness until I do MBA?

Hi Siddharth, A lot of career opportunities are also available after BBA too. Though it is true that after an MBA there is a higher jump in the career growth but that will also depend on a lot of factors such as your B-school, years and kind of work experience, etc. Moreover, salary should never be criteria when you are starting your career, it will grow with time and work experience. Further, the BBA degree is designed to develop practical managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability, which can be used in various job profiles. A BBA graduate can start off as an Executive, Associate, Business Development Manager or an Assistant manager in various organizations such as: Manufacturing companies Export and trading houses Financial concerns Banks NGOs PSUs Multinational corporations The starting salary might not be appealing and most of the students are hired as interns and are given stipend instead of salary. But with experience and exposure the salary bar would surely get a hike and an MBA after BBA/BBM would definitely fetch the student more lucrative jobs.
