    Lovely Professional University is one of the best and premier institutes for agricultural studies. It has become first private university of India to get an approval from ICAR.
    # If any student is pursuing B.Sc agriculture from Lovely Professional University he/she should not be worried about the placements. LPU has remarkable placements.

    Yes, LPU is accreditation by ICAR because it has all the qualitative and quantitative resources to curate these programs.

    Yes, LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. Lovely Professional University provides copious opportunities to all the students. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams as well. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED, and many other firms. The average package is 3.27 LPA and the maximum is 5.6 LPA.

    LPU is an international university with multiple affiliations and best education award winner. LPU is famous for his placements and modern infrastructure. LPU is the only private university having ICAR accreditation.     Yes, LPU is the only Private University which is ICAR recognised.
    LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes and offering more than 250 courses wherein B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture is one such course.     LPU is not only the ICAR Accredited but become the India's first private university to be granted with ICAR Accreditation.
    The four programmes:
    1.B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) with GPAP of 3.72/4;2.M.Sc Horticulture (Fruit Science) with GPAP of 3.75/4;
    3. M.Sc Agronomy with GPAP of 3.60/4; and,
    4. M.ScGenetics & Plant Breeding with GPAP of 3.60/4 are accredited.

  • Abdul, The university has already applied for ICAR approval. It is the sole concern of ICAR and depends upon them that how much time they will take for the process. LPU started with B.Sc agriculture in 2011 only. So,till now only one batch has passed out and placements for that batch were good.

    I got only 58% in plus 2 science will I be able get admission for Bsc agriculture

    Dear Abdul,
    Agriculture is the most demanding course these days. B.Sc(Hons.) Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is best.
    LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation.
    The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students.
    The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.
