    Hello,
No, CLAT is only required for 5-year LLB programme, not for 3-year LLB. Some good colleges are Delhi University, Allahabad University and BHU.
    All the best.

    Hi there,
No, CLAT is meant only for 5-year law course at various NLUs and LLM course as well. You can't get through a 3-year course. Also, for the purpose of 3-year law course, entrances are held by various universities and institution and also direct admissions are also available. Delhi University, Allahabad University and BHU are some of the good options for 3-year law course and admission to these is available on the basis of entrance exams.

Hi.

  • Level: Comparable overall. NLET may be slightly more analytical/legal-reasoning oriented.

  • Preparation Overlap: Preparing for CLAT will largely cover NLET syllabus, but you may need extra practice on complex legal reasoning questions for NLET.

  • Difficulty: Both are competitive; CLAT is high due to large number of applicants, while NLET can feel harder in legal aptitude sections.
