Is it right for me to start my MBA preparation in the 2nd semester of B.Tech?

Hello Siddharth,
I think that's too early. In the first year (2nd semester), it is important to focus more on your engineering courses than MBA exams.
You will be eligible for MBA exams only during your final semester exams and so it will be ideal to prepare from the 3rd year or final year.
