Is it right to choose SRM or LPU for automobile engineering?

Well in my opinion, i will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill.

These non-core branches such as the one you mentioned should be done from premier institutes only as there is a large risk involved in pursuing them from private universities. You should change your branch to mechanical as that would be very beneficial for you and for future perspectives. Moreover, if you are unable do both then between both, SRM is better than LPU.

Hi, I won't prefer you to opt for LPU other than for CSE as this is the branch it is known for. For any other thing, you won't be able to find any good thing other than infra. Placements of all the other branches are so worse that if you will see it once, then you won't pursue engineering at all.

Engineering is considered one of the best course offered by LPU. Yes Lovely professional offers automobile engineering along with CSE, ECE, Biotechnology, mechenical etc. The university provides great opportunities for the students and has 100% placements. If we talk specifically about automobile engineering companies like TATA motors, Ultra tech cement, Samsung, Lloyd group, Surya roshni Ltd, Volkswagen, Voltas etc. are present in the recruitment program. The students are trained well before attending the recruitment session. The students are specially given PEP classes wherein students perform activities like mock interviews, group discussions, mock tests etc. The university always supports the ideas of the students and motivate them to perform better. The students are motivated to nurture their skills and develop new hobbies. The university allows the students to explore more and learn more. Both the university are eminence.Being a part of LPU,I am much aware about the university.Automobile engineering is the area of engineering that deals with the design, production, mechanical components, and operations of automobiles. It also serves as an introduction to the engineering of vehicles, such as those used in buses, trucks, cars, and motorbikes. Eligibility: Pass with 60% overall in 10+2 (with English, Mathematics, and Physics), or an equivalent, subject to passing the LPUNEST. If the candidate passed his qualifying exam in English, the requirement of English may be removed for a candidate who has not taken English as a subject. (5% relaxation for candidates from Sikkim, North East states, and defence personnel and their dependents. You alone, and no one else for that matter, determines your chances of being hired by a corporation. Following graduation, you won't be given a predetermined bundle. To support yourself while doing what you love, you need a job. It's not like you pay for college, spend four years there, and then find employment. Stop looking at a degree in that way since you are getting educated and universities are not some sort of employment agency. In any case, LPU places talented auto engineering students in excellent jobs. PLACEMENTS: Students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme may get a maximum of 10 LPA from Hettich India, and Intellipat. Most people choose teaching and research. LPU provides numerous opportunities in all the terms like Live projects and internships from companies that add experience in the automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. I was completely flabbergasted by the designs of cars, robots, and new inventions done by them. Talking about recent placements, the highest package availed is Rs 7.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. Rs 7.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar When it comes to Automobile Engineering 95% to 98% of our seniors have been placed in top-notch companies such as HERO MOTORCYCLES, HYUNDAI, ESCORTS, TAFE and many more. There are continuous efforts by faculty to contribute to the upliftment of student's careers. LPU provides adequate opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure a good placement.
