Is it safe to give improvement exam and what to fill in jee form in column year of passing i'm going to appear in 2015 improvement exam

I had appeared in cbse 2014 exam and scored 59% marks & that is why i did'nt get admission in good collage and now i'm preparing for iit and applied for improvement exam in maths and physics and maths in which i scored 51 and 47 marks respectively

    Dear, students who are appearing for the qualifying exam this year should leave the roll number column blank. It can be filled while downloading the hall ticket for JEE mains after 15th March. I think the same thing can be done for the improvement candidates. They need your roll number so that they get your board exam marks for giving you AIR. If you mention your previous years board roll number they will enter your previous years board exam marks while giving AIR and there will be no use of giving the improvement exam.
