Is it too late to pursue a course in investment banking if I am in the 1st year of B.Tech? Which course should I pursue for the same?

The normal investment banking career ladder begins after you do your course and get a fair idea of what the IB field is about. No, it's not too late.
Investment banking is a very niche field in the area of finance. Initially, I would suggest you get a clear concept handling of finance through any of the graduation course. To be an investment banker, you need good analytical, logical and strong mathematical background.
