Being an engineer and cracking the CAT exam with a good score are two different things. There is no internal connection between them. It is a myth that engineering students have an advantage in CAT. All branches students can crack CAT with six months of preparation.

No, it doesn't matter to which field you belong. For CAT, minimum 4-5 months are required to score well. All the best.

No, it is not tough at all. CAT exam checks your aptitude. It doesn't matter from which field do you belong. CAT preparation requires around 4-5 months of hard work but it totally depends upon you. It can vary from person to person.
