Is it true that an individual with low grades who wants to pursue higher education in Germany can do a 1-year preparatory course?
The course covers full-time education in the subjects of a degree program as well as the German language, for 5- days a week. A passing score on the final assessment examination qualifies you to apply for a degree program that is suitable for you at any German university (is it worth or a waste)?

Hi,
Yes, it's called Studienkolleg. You have to be accepted by the university even to pursue the Studienkolleg programme so it's not easy and definitely not a waste. If your grades are way below their requirements they may not even accept you.
