Is it true that average package for a fresher Rs.3 LPA? Is it true that PGPM degree valid for the companies that come for campus placements?

Average salary of fresher is 6.5 lakhs to 7 lakhs in ICFAI Business School (IBS). There are people who have done PGPM and have also applied for off campus placements who were not interested in getting placed on campus, they even got selected outside from companies outside, who never visited college. The benefit of getting or taking ON Campus placements from institute is that you will get a higher package as compared to OFF campus placements.
