Is it true that I need some additional certificates which are not related to my academics to pass through PI?

Please concentrate on interview. There are no as such advantage for having certificates.

whatever you have heard is not correct. Yes, these certificates might give you a talking point in the interview and land you some brownie points but it is definitely not a mandatory thing to have. People with no certificates as such also clear the interview.
