IPE is well known for its placements and courses. Don't go with the rumors. You can directly visit the institute and you can clear all your doubts here. -

IPE Ranked 38th position for MBA by MHRD 2016. The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has recognized IPE as a "Center of Excellence" in management sciences for doctoral studies. Seven universities have recognized the institute for the guidance of PhD students in field of commerce, economics, management & public administration. IPE is a training center for the IAS and other senior officers of central and state governments, public sector enterprises, and private corporate sector. But option is yours. Go for rating and ranking of IPE. -
Now, if I will say IPE, Hyderabad is good. College will not become good or bad if people say bad.
