Is it true that MBA is a common course and getting a reputed job is difficult unless you are an IIM student?

Yes, it is true but there are other colleges as well which offers you attractive salary packages apart from IIM.

It is true. Apart from top IIMs and other top colleges like:
1. MDI.
2. SP Jain.
3. XLRI.
4. FMS, etc. there's not much scope.
MBA degree has no value, it's the college that matters the most.
