Is it true that MMU is a private university? Also, is it having a low value as compared to a government university?

MM (Deemed to be University) is a deemed university duly recognized by Govt of India. MMDU has been awarded as the Best University of the Year North in 2017. So, it can not true that MMDU has low value as compared to the government universities in India. More than 13000 students are currently studying from more than 32 countries.
