It's true that many engineers have to face the problem in getting a job but it depends on many things. Sometimes market is down, sometimes engineers don't have practical knowledge. Competition is very tough as many engineers are passing out every year but you should have practical knowledge and have an ability to crack the interview. Also, have very good academics then you can easily get a good job in a good company.

Getting a good job depends on the candidate also.Yes it is true that many engineers are not getting job because of skills and ability and also almost 10 lakhs engineers are passing out every year and jobs are less but still in certain fields like IT, engineers are in demand and also in many companies the basic eligibility has been set to engineering. So, there is nothing to worry about job.If you have interest in engineering then go for it and develop your skills and ability. You will definitely get a good job.

Quality of engineering education is poor in most of the engineering colleges. However, if you do engineering from prestigious engineering colleges, you have a very high probability to get a good job.
