Is it true that the first and second semester of B.Tech are tough and many students fail in the first-year of B.Tech?

First and second semesters of engineering is not tough. It is clutural change which student face between School and College changeover. Those who are not able to handle freedom provided in college and pattern of college education face challenges.

In most of the cases, the 1st-year is easy but afterwards, it completely depends on the branch as the 2nd year for CE is very easy as compared to other branches like EE, CHE, etc.
