Is it true that the MBA colleges located outside of Kolkata have better placement record?

The placement depends on your caliber and strengths. It is true that placement facility differs from college to college, also there are regional differences, but it's minor. If your college has good track of placement, be rest assured that you will be hired, but reminding you that it's depend on how you perform in these two academic years of MBA.

It does not depend on your college. The placement depends on your quality, performance and experience. -
Placement is one thing, which does not depend on location, city and environment. It depends entirely on college efforts, pedagogy of teaching in class rooms, exposure of students, industrial relations of college and hard work of students.
