Dear Naveen, Yes, it is true that there is a different culture in LPU from different states and countries but it is not true that students take drugs at LPU. LPU is one of the most secure campuses and it is under CCTV 24/7. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. LPU is one of the greenest campuses in the country. The greenery makes for a great learning environment and promotes creativity! The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Students have opportunity to become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The University has its very own fire station department. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. With facilities like swimming pool, warm up pool, shooting range, squash court, badminton court, a volleyball court, basketball court etc. at 50% subsidized fee. (1) RULES: Living life on others terms is however not everyones cup of tea. So you must go through the brochure before joining the hostel to understand their terms and conditions. (2) Little independence. Living in a hostel can give you a feeling of dependency. And every student who wants to feel like an independent adult hates that feeling. (3) Little privacy. Introverts are everywhere. And of course, who doesnt love a private space. But if you are choosing hostel then there are few or no chances that you are going to get any personal space because that is what hostel is you are forever going to be surrounded by the crowd. Hostels are after all one of the best places where we make memories with our friends in college life. Maybe you would miss your personal space in the beginning but in the end, you are going to miss that crowd and the Maggi you ate with your friends in the hostel room at 2 AM.

Dear Naveen, Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would like to answer your query, I was waiting for a while but this question catches my eye and being a alumni of this University,I can challenge you that there are no addicts in the campus. Can anybody tell me, Dont other universities, institutions, colleges even schools students take drugs ????? I believe we all know that there are people with these bad habits and its injurious to their health. From the day first to till the end day in the University. I never find such kind of activity inside the campus. The rules and regulations are very tough in the campus. If someone found doing any kind misbehave inside the campus,strict action is taken by the management against the person. This university has taken every step to prevent it from happening, which has made sure that no such activity takes place inside the university. From security checks at the main gates, hostels and strict rules and regulations and proper surveillance. No such things accepted inside the campus,if anybody caught from suspension to cancellation of scholarship to getting resuscitated.This University taken every steps to make sure,such incidents does not happen. Also, CCTV cameras are well installed around every corner of university to figure out any issue- in hostels, classrooms, gates, lawns, etc. Moreover, proper checking of students and other members is done at the main gate before entering the campus. So there is no chance of drugs inside the campus. The University has its very own fire station department.
