For NEET 2017, an overview can be drawn from the NEET 2016 cutoff. The cutoff of all the categories for the year 2016 has been released. For the general category, the range of cutoff is between 685-468. However, there will be fluctuation in the cutoff in the year 2017 as now the students will be having better idea of the exam pattern and syllabus.
So, there is more chance of higher cutoff. For getting admission into a good government college one need to secure above 600. However, there are some medical institutions, which are exempted from NEET, you also can prepare for them separately.
