Is it true, the salary packages in IIM colleges will definitely be higher (in the range of 15-20 LPA)?

    No, that is not true in every case. However, to get the exact picture, you can liaise with Alumni/students.

    Exactly, It is not true. The average and median packages are around 15-16 LPA, which means that half of the students get placed below this.
