Is it worth doing an MBA in Information technology?

Doing an MBA in IT is a good option for those who have either experience in the IT Industry or have been part of the product based companies where you have worked in product development/product marketing. Just looking at the prospects of getting a Tech MBA is irrelevant if you don't have a background that supports your transition. In case you are an Engineer specialising in IT, CS etc. And thinking about getting into an MBA programme in India that offers the Specialisation, you can very well go ahead with it. But I will always advise to get into the relevant roles/industry for 34 years before you look at getting into such a specified degree. Globally there are many schools that have IT as one of the specialisations but programs like Tech, MBA from UEM Jaipur are the programs to plan. Information technology MBAs have proven themselves to be a great degree to progress up the managerial ladder. But for some graduates, a little experience is needed first.
