The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024 ranked the UC Merced #401-500 for its engineering programs in the world. The U.S. News and World Report 2023 ranked UC Merced #118 for its Biomedical Engineering programs, #128 for its Electrical Engineering programs, and #122 for its Mechanical Engineering in the United States.
