If you are ambitious, your career is on the upswing, and you are looking to turbo-charge your resume, an Executive MBA (EMBA) is something you might want to consider. Unlike a full-time MBA, where the students are younger and relatively inexperienced, an EMBA program is designed for professionals who have at least six to seven years work experience. Best of all, it's a flexible program that allows you to keep your full-time job while earning your degree. In spite of its nomenclature, an EMBA is not aimed at executives (I.e. the privileged few perched at the top echelons of the company) at all and is apt for anyone identified by either

It depends on the person to person. If you are satisfied with your current position and work then there is no need to go for the executive MBA. Otherwise, if you are done with doing the same stuff over 5-6 years and want to go for a managerial senior position then just go for an executive MBA. It will be a great experience if you go for executive MBA because you will be surrounded by some of the best peers and it will be a great opportunity to build a network. In spite of its classification, an Executive MBA is not directed at executives at all and is apt for anyone recognized by either themselves or their company as a future leader.
The degree is aimed at anyone who is motivated, keen to improve their managerial acumen, and wants to deepen their knowledge of the business.
But, it is costly. Getting an Executive MBA comes at high personal and economic cost. It means balancing a full-time job with a meticulou

The fees for executive MBA from IIMs is around 18-20 LPA.
So the question is about do you really need an executive MBA degree.
The executive MBA program is generally for 1 year and people with 8+ years of work experience generally opt for.
So if your current job is good and satisfies all your needs and wants, then no need to waste 20 LPA on executive MBA.
But if you have worked enough in an industry and you think you understand the industry and want to change you job profile, for example from technical to managerial position or looking for getting to the top positions in your firm then EPGP can help.
Again you have to see if you are passio
