    MTech is one of the popular courses of NIT Durgapur. NIRF has ranked NIT Durgapur at 43 in 2023 rankings under 'Engineering' Category. It is one of the recognised NITs of India offering two-year M.Tech programme. Candidates have an option of 18 specialisations in M.Tech at NIT Durgapur. Once completed, M.Tech students can participate in the placement drive of the institute. TCS, JP Morgan, Oracle, and many other renowned companies participated in NIT Durgapur placements 2023.
