The CLAT is an important entrance test to get admission into prestigious law schools, including national law universities. You need to dedicate minimum eight to ten months to prepare for this exam. A better suggestion than devote a whole year to prepare for CLAT would be preparing a systematic time schedule to cover up all the portions included in the syllabus. I wouldn't personally suggest staying idle for a whole year while you can be more productive and attain your goals early. Consistency is the key to success and a disciplined systematic life will help you attain consistency and concentration.
