Is it worth investing huge sums of money to study animation from institutes like MAAC, Arena etc.?

There are two kinds of careers. One is based on an understanding of theory which is focused on education and another one is based on the practice of theory which is skill based. All right brain activities including sports & creative career fall in the Right brain domain. For careers that are based on the practice of your skills, degrees become secondary and in fact come in your way of acquiring knowledge. There is a need for students of Creative Careers to enter Mentoring programs to hone their skills. Alternatively they can learn Skills via Certifications which allow for anyone to teach as long as they are expert in their art. Now this freedom does make the learner's task difficult as ungoverned academies have to be judged directly by the students. So be careful while choosing a mentor or an institute. You could do your own research to create a list of places you may want to learn, whether they are in your city or not. Then visit their websites and research about them & even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go to a school which offers all the information including faculty & placement track record on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself.

Animation and graphics designing is one the most creative work which is not possible for everyone. It needs a passion for this work and definitely, there is great scope in this field and one can get a job in various companies for designing. One can easily get a job in a TV News Channel and for filmmaking in various production houses. So, this is not a waste of money, if someone dreams about these things then he or she must go for it. Institutes such as Arena Animation provide better 3D and graphics learning and their certificate are valid for jobs at all companies. These institutes also offer various jobs to the students. Joining MAAC or Arena Animation is not a waste of money, it is just a one-time investment and after this, a student can earn a lot of money by these creative things. These institutions provide better education in various application such as Sony Vegas, Adobe Creative Clouds, and many other and after a student is a master in these applications, it will help them for better job opportunities.
