It is a part of the thirty NITs that has been recognised by the Indian Government due to their national importance. Talking about the placements, as per the latest reports, a total of 935 students of the batch 2023 have been placed in reputed companies till June 2023. The NIT Surat highest package offered to the BTech and MTech students stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 48.75 LPA, respectively.
