Is it worth pursuing a distance/correspondence arts program? Does that take away from the market value of this degree?

Distance or Correspondence degrees have been gaining lot of traction nowadays, but major missing with this mode of learning is practical exposure and live face to face as well as peer learning, major group participating activities which evolves values like Team Building Entrepreneurship and Leadersh

Hi,
If you can cope up with learning on your own and simultaneously have a job then correspondence is worthwhile.
If you are also planning to pursue your PG through distance education then you can take UG via the same mode.
The advantage of correspondence course is that you can gain work experience

I will not recommend you for a distance/correspondence program for arts & humanities until and unless you have a solid career path.
(1) Why not a correspondence course?
In today's era, big giant companies (eg, Accenture, Oracle, TCS, Infosys) do generally avoid those people who have done a distance
