Bachelor in Pharmacy is an undergraduate programme in the field of Pharmacy which deals with health and chemical Science. Being an alumni of LPU I would like to say that LPU would be the best university for opting B.Pharma as I have some friends in the same field. The student must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or Maths or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Now I like to share certain details regarding the same. In my opinion, Yes it's worth it. There are several reasons for it. B.Pharma programme is (approved by PCI) Pharmacy Council of India for Indian applicants only. It is Ranked among the Top 30 Indian Pharmacy Colleges 2020 by NIRF By the Ministry of HRD Government of India. It is among the best colleges in Punjab and India which provides Wide participation in global research and conferences rewards. Students get international exposure in the fields of Medicine, Drugs, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Some of the alumni I know are working in the top 10 brands in the world. Placed In Freyr Solutions At 4 LPA Package - Abott Selected 3 Students at a Package of 3.75 LPA. 2 Students got Shortlisted in GlaxoSmithKline at 3.59 LPA - 2 Students Shortlisted in GlaxoSmithKline at 3.59 LPA 2 LPU students Ave & Nehashortlisted for the position of Medical Business Associates at GlaxoSmithKline with a package of 3.59 LPA. Besides that LPU has lots of exposure, happening campus life, best infrastructure with high tech labs and various kind of facilities which you can't find in one single university. Hands on Training to Improve Quality of Research Conducted on Experimental Animals conducted by Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Navneet Khurana and Mr. Bimlesh Kumar. -School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at LPU followed the protocol and celebrated the World Pharmacy Day on 25th September. Many students and staff gathered and vowed to follow the ethics laid by Pharmacy Council of India and to be an integral part of the healthcare system.
