Is it worth pursuing B.Tech CSE from LPU?

I am an alumnus of LPU and I feel it was the right decision to join this institute. I was placed in Accenture a reputed MNC.There are many factors that make it worthy to join. Some of them are- Campus Without a doubt, it's a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students.The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for be it Food Canteens, Gym and Parks. Courses LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech , MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. Faculty Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT,NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student. Placements On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.LPU provides placements to the maximum it has record-breaking placements in MBA approximately 98% of students got placed in top companies in the year 2020. Moreover, CSE students were placed in top companies, with a package of 42 per annum in Microsoft was a highlight in the newspaper and in news. In CSE the placement record is almost 100%. one of my friends did B.Tech from LPU and now she is working in Google in USA. Dear Abinash, Every university is doing well for their students but as per my knowledge, I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she placed in Cognizant with a good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are excellent as IITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie-ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE, etc., the syllabus of courses is vetted and inspected by these company professionals at the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills, etc. Are the part of the curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. For on-campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for a design and development center where students can work on their ideas. Hello! I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I will share my experience, I hope it helps. LPU has it all for complete learning. I would say a Big YES for B.Tech CSE from LPU. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placement. I hope this helps. Good Luck !
