Yes, it's worthy of admission to the BCA programme.

It depends on what career u r looking for. BCA + MCA + M.tech brings u at par with engineers. If you like developing softwares, web designing, data base management etc, then go for it. Scope will always b there if u have talent as the sector is ever evolving.
