    As per NIRF 2024 rankings, CU is ranked 32 under the 'Engineering' category and managed to improve its position from the last year's ranking, which was 45 in the year 2022. CU has set records for engineering education & is ranked among the Best Engineering Colleges in Punjab, India.

    The students pursuing BTech from the university get excellent placement offers. During Chandigarh University 2023 placements, the highest international package went up to INR 1.70 LPA for Engineering courses. The highest domestic package went up to INR 54.75 LPA.     Yes, yes absolutely and not only good, Chandigarh University is the best place to study engineering courses. It is famous for every aspect be it academics, rankings, placements, faculty, fests, etc.

    But firstly, let me tell you CU does not offer B.Tech, it offers B.E. and the degree is Accreditation Board For Engineering and Technology (ABET) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited which means it's recognised worldwide.

    The university has almost every specialization, whether you wanna learn AI, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning or Cybersecurity. For practicals, I heard that labs are next level, labs such as Microsoft Innovat

    Yes, Chandigarh University is a good college for BTech. BTech students are placed in top companies at top positions such as Microsoft, Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, IBM, Arcesium, Adobe, Deloitte, Qualcomm, Philips, Goldman Sachs, Toshiba, and others. BTech students can become Engineers or can go for M.Tech and various other technical as well as non-technical courses.

    Yes, chandigarh university is a good option. Yet there are more better options like IITs, NITs, BITS, VIT, THAPAR, JADAVPUR UNIV, IIEST(shibpur), SRM, VTU, KIIT to name a few. All the best. Thank you.
