Is it worth pursuing online/distance law programs in India? How do they compare with regular law programs?

Very pragmatic field and it is advisable to attend regular college. While pursuing an LL.B. It is very important to be a part of the classroom discussion and to actively participate in the teaching process. Further, the moot court exercises, the debates, and other extra-curricular activities help in the over-all development of a student, which will definitely help them later. However, if the online/long-distance programme in NOT LL.B. But a Diploma or Certificate Course, it is a decent option. A lot of these programs are conducted only online, even by reputed National Law Universities.

Law is something which is really confusing sometimes as different sections/articles may have a different interpretation and learning these interpretations ultimately makes you a lawyer. Thus, it is advisable to attend classes and not go for a distance study.
Regular classes and internships are something you shouldn't compromise on, as one teaches you the theoretical/rhetorical elements of law and the other teaches you how to implement those in real life. One is incomplete without the other and both go simultaneously.
