Is it worth spending Rs 12 lakhs in VIT for CSE?

You should always be aware on what you are spending your money and 12 lakhs is a big amount. But while considering VIT, firstly consider VIT Vellore campus, which is the best campus, also CSE branch is really good in this college. There are multiple job opportunities and all the big companies visit the campus during placement. So, your money worth here. Just go for it.

Engineering at VIT is definitely worth it. It doesn't matter in which college you are studying as long as you work hard with full dedication and conviction towards your goal. As far as VIT is concerned, let me tell you why it is one of the finest colleges in the country and why will it be beneficial for your higher studies as well. It provides you with the best education,as long as you are willing to pay attention in class. There will always be teachers who will be cooperative in clearing your doubts anytime. Just be friendly with such teachers from the starting. You will reap the benefits till the end. VIT has FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) which means you can choose the timing of your slots, in which different subjects are offered either in morning or afternoon,depending on your convenience. This system has proved to be a boon for me and many others as it allows breaks between the classes. VIT has many varieties of clubs ranging from technical to cultural. Be it from cricket,basketball,football to dance,drama,music to mechanical,electrical,VIT has some of the best opportunities to offer you to polish your talent in your field by being an active member of any of these clubs. VIT has a multi-cultural crowd in both the campuses. People from all regions of the country find a place in this college. I have friends from Kashmir to Kerala. It is an altogether an exhilarating and fabulous feeling to get to know more about our country,its diverse ideals,thinking and traditions through the people from different cultures. It makes you adaptive to diverse conditions and adds new dimensions to your opinions. VIT undoubtedly will never allow you to leave empty handed from the college. You will have a good job,if you work little hard and a fabulous one if you are consistent with your work. Many companies come to VIT and each and everyone has a lot to satisfy students from one or the other branch. Also, VIT is completely safe for girls. Some parents feel skeptical and are hesitant in sending girls to such a far-off place,down south. But believe me,although VIT may be imposing a little extra restrictions on girls but the safety that this college provides to girls is absolutely commendable and every student has the chance to grow here. Hello James, It depends on how you spend your time there. VIT is a reputed Institute and so you can acquire more knowledge. The placements are also good. So, if you could work hard and learn many things, then it is worth.
