Is it worth studying in a tier 2 college in Canada for B.Tech CS or marketing and Sales instead of studying in IIT (tier1) for CS?

I have given my class 12th exam and taken my JEE exam, but my rank is not so good. I have interest in two courses either B.Tech computer Science or marketing and sales.

    In tier 2 or 3, youve to personally develop yourself and lookout for various courses related to your field and scope of that course, Its better to choose CS/IT from tier 2 or 3 colleges because there is no scope of ME/CIVIL/EC (the worst) and learn coding irrespective of your branch (read my other answers for detailed analysis). Also maintain a CGPA around 8.0 or above 75% in B.Tech to get in a good company or for applying for a better internship or college.
