Well, I am not aware about Chandigarh University, Being an Alumni of LPU, I can give you some details related to the engineering programs offered by LPU which is ranked 9th in Computer Science subjects in India as per the Times higher education world university ranking 2022. and ranked 10th in Life Science and Engineering subjects in India as per the Times higher education world university ranking 2022.

(e. g for electronic and electrical- students taking courses in automobile/ robotics/ cybersecurity to build competency in this area).
2) Trainings, projects and guest lectures collaborated with industries help to learn from real life situations. Seminar and Project driven courses are designed to enhance technical and presentation skills.
3) the programme also provide credit transfer option where a student can start its engineering in lpu and finish it in foreign university in tie- up. Career 360 has rated LPU as India's Best Engineering College 2019 with AAA+ rank

Yes, of course it's worth. In CSE the no. of placements are highest and moreover, the university has courses in CSE in collaboration with IBM and company sponsored labs from IBM, Cisco, Oracle, HP, Wipro and many more.
