Yes, it's a good institute for MBA. It's much known for marketing. If you are not having other B-school's offers, it's a good institute to pursue MBA. What other options do you have?

Yes, placements is a factor that lacks in this institute. I would suggest you to attempt entrance exams one more time.
Else, if you want to pursue MBA this year only and you can't invest one more year than go for this college. You need to work hard and put efforts to get a good placement.
