Yes, it is. I am an alumnus of LPU and I feel it was the right decision to join this institute. I was placed in Accenture a reputed MNC.There are many factors that make it worthy to join. Some of them are- Campus Without a doubt, it's a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students.The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for be it Food Canteens, Gym and Parks. Courses LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech , MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. Faculty Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT,NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student. Placements On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.LPU provides placements to the maximum it has record-breaking placements in MBA approximately 98% of students got placed in top companies in the year 2020. Moreover, CSE students were placed in top companies, with a package of 42 per annum in Microsoft was a highlight in the newspaper and in news. In CSE the placement record is almost 100%.

Dear Ankit, LPU is worth pursuing BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. I have also done my MBA from LPU and my cousin did BTech in CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research technology, exposures (both national and international), placements, accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. The placement of LPU is very good. 600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 LPA. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. LPU campus is so lovely. The whole campus is under cctv. So no issue of security problems. Hostels are well maintained. Food is good for health. LPU also provide a sports ground with very experienced coach. The university is having a university-hospital which is free of cost for the students. Ambulance service is free for 24 hrs. Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels. Smart classroom. Whole university is online so you can do anything from your mobile. There is no compensation in studies, whenever a teacher on leave then the makeup classes will be arranged for the teacher. There are restriction on teachers also, they also have to take permission for late night entry. Apart from this, LPU also have clubs which will help you to enlighten your talent whether it is in singing, anchoring, acting, dancing or any other. You will get to know about diversity in India. Foreigners also live in LPU that will help you know about there culture.
