Is it worth to join LPU?

Please go ahead and join Lovely professional University.I'll give you some of the things that I enjoyed while I studied there:Lovely professional University is worth joining,This entirely depends upon whether you can make it worth joining or not. Its a thing that how University treats you but whats more important is how you treat the University. So whether it is worth joining or not completely depends upon how you utilise the resources provided by the University for the betterment of yourself. Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculties and staff, offering more than 200 programmes. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system i.e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 8) LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.

LPU was my home for 5 long years and made me realize my inner self and pushed me towards doing better and better day by day. Talking about the faculty members, Most of the staff is Ph.D. and many are even from IIT, NIT or Iims, with enough experience as well. At LPU they are not just Professors but mentors to students and guide you well throughout. Complete practical learning module and hands on experience in every field. One of the most important entities of any university, classes and the design of curriculum is very efficient at LPU. Instruction Plans are given out at the very beginning of the semester letting you get hands on information about every topic of the subject you are going to read, every reference you need to go through and stuff. Continuous assessments are an integral part of classes to make sure that students are learning whatever is being taught in the form of tests, term papers, case studies, mini projects etc. Industry Based Live projects are integral part of curriculum, which makes you stand apart from others. Yes, obviously it is .Lovely Professional University has a beautiful and magnificent campus that spreads over 600 acres in Phagwara. The campus has students all over states and 40+ countries of the world. It has 145+ programs in 55+ disciplines,150+ tie-ups with foreign universities,30k+ students, and 1400+ global and Indian super brands for placement. There are multiple facilities within the campus like university Mall, university Hospital, Food courts or kiosks, Bank ATMs, residential facilities, food facilities, and Transport facilities. The elegance and the brightness of the campus even become more lively during events, concerts, coke studio performances, One India, and One World Fests. There are multiple student organizations that give an excellent opportunity to students to hone and sharpen their skills. The University also has a robust division of career services along with faculty and staff of parent-school to provide eligible students with job opportunities. Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. The Mechanical school of LPU has well-qualified and experienced faculty members with specializations in various fields like Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Industrial Engineering, Machine Tool Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Metallurgy, Robotics, Thermal Engineering, etc. Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. Yes, LPU worth a lot and you will never regret this decision. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumnus of LPU and the Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
