I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. The answer is that it will depend upon your JEE Mains score. If you are getting any good NIT or IIT then do not prefer LPU. If you are getting any good college which is good in NIRF ranking then go for that. It will be a last option if you are not getting any good college. The advertisement of LPU is something different.
