Yes, it is worth joining LPU. In fact, I highly recommend LPU for the CSE programme. As you are looking for the CSE program, then LPU is the best option ever for you.
I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE.

Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory

There are rumours that there are no placements .
The quality of food is not nice.
The faculty are not any iits but those are the students of LPU indeed.
