Is it worth to join this college? I have been allotted this college through DTE.

Hi Anita, Here is my honest review for you. I am measuring the institution on two parameters – education and placements. In terms of education – the college is pretty good. The faculty is a very experienced lot, and are also approachable for students. In terms of placements – the college is modest. It is still improving its record. There is still some improvement needed as the potential for placements is very huge. The key message I have for you is this – XIMR is a place where your success depends on yourself. The resources are there – the library, the computer centre, the classrooms and the huge meeting or discussion rooms. But all of the successes and your learning depend on how well you use these resources for your own benefits and advantages. I personally think XIMR needs to be a bit stricter, but then again they provide you with all the resources at your disposal. In fact, you also get access to world-class, subscription based newspapers such as The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal.
