Is it worth to pursue a certificate course in radio jockeying from distance learning in India and why?

The compensation Tier of a radio jockey begins from 7,000-14,000 INR each month. This degree of pay is offered when they are a learner. After they turns into a permanent staff, the compensation becomes 15,000-45,000 INR. If the channel is supported by any organisation, the radio station personality gets 2,500-5,000 INR for each show.

On the basis of my experience in the industry and research, I would never recommend for certificate course in radio jockeying from distance learning. As this course is designed as a hard core training module. You must go through all the training and modules in a Radio Studio only to have a better knowledge and understanding of Radio jockeying. I would suggest you to go for a regular certificate course in radio jockeying instead of a Distance course. Distance course will not be able to skill you enough to qualify and crack the interviews at major Radio channels.

There was a question I answered earlier and I feel that the submission to the question must be seen in sync with that answer quoted below. RJ work is done LIVE and has to be learned LIVE only. Through distance mode, a learner, who is already skilled and has been doing the RJ or radio work may opt for some distance mode to enhance competence but if you say that a person can become an RJ just by doing a distance education degree then it is not advisable. What qualities and skills should one possess to become a radio jockey (RJ)? Answer: Radio Jockey or a Modern Day Presenter or Announcer is quite tough as well as challenging because each day new people are placing their claim on the job. This is to note that an RJ remains without a face and is not that active on screen. In my submission to the library, the small things are in the process, after tomorrow, I shall be able to make a more detailed note of qualities and skills after sharing the above Radio Jockey is a fascinating career, where we see someone doing to magic with the voice and words. It is not just the words or the voice, rather it is the way the words are articulated and presented. A radio jockey is to create a live jockeying to entertain the listeners. The challenge lies in the wide variety of listeners and an unending list of interests that people carry in this age. No one can be a radio jockey by the virtue of being excellent at 'Improvising'. The fluency and selection of words with utmost courtesy is also the hallmark of good books. A Radio Jockey write creative pieces and present in the best and interesting way. The Radio Jockey tasks not based on the unreal things. You need to have a style and type of behavior.
