    The course is for 10+2 students to become nursery teachers in kindergartens. Course is designed to train and provide skills to future teaching professionals with the educational theory and practice, so that they have a better understanding of the learning needs and be responsive to the demands of the young students who are in the process to start their formal education.     1. You can pursue a job along with studies: A major chunk of students who actually opt for distance education are those who don't want to give up their jobs, but want a higher education too. Distance education comes as a blessing for such students. You can study on weekends, when you are back from work or even in the middle of the night. You get to learn while you earn.

    According to me, it is not a good idea to pursue D.Ed through correspondence as it will not impart good practical and theoretical knowledge. Regular course is better as it will give you more opportunities to get a good exposure.

    According to my experience and suggestion you should not opt for D.Ed from distance learning. If you still want to then you should do graduation and post-graduation along with D.Ed. In India, distance learning is not preferred and distance learning students suffer.
