Is it worth to pursue aerospace engineering from LPU?

<p>Being an alumni I had couple of friends pursuing Aerospace engineering. I would like to capture your attention on that . The following are the programme details : Designed for learners intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings.</p><p>As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per The Times of India ranking, LPU was at no 36. The highest package offered in the course is about 31 LPA. The average salary was 4.2 LPA.</p><p><strong>Eligibility</strong> :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&amp;For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants).</p><p>The programme comes with engineering minors:</p><p>1. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE</p><p>2. SPACE ENGINEERING and pathway electives</p><p>3. ADVANCED AEROSPACE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION for industry immersion In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPU-NEST or JEE Main will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
