Is it worth to pursue an advanced certificate in acting and modelling from distance learning in India and why?

Hello, To be more specific for your query, it is not worthy. If you are willing to make a career in acting and modeling through distance mode, I would like to say certain points: (#) If you are very much aware of the current Bollywood conditions and trends, you don't need to be much qualified. On screen, what matters is your acting skills and how you present yourself. These qualities and skills cannot be generated from obtaining the certificates. These are generated through regular practice and on-stage demonstration. So, you don't have to go for any advance certificate in film and modeling course. (#) If you think that getting the certificates is extremely important for you. Then you may. But don't go for distance learning mode. These are the certificates which give you quality, skills. However, for all the valid reasons, we can think of the feasibility of such a degree through distance mode as well. Distance mode has been established all over the world to keep the learning active and bring education to them who otherwise were away from that learning. IGNOU offers the following: Master of Performing Arts (Theatre Arts) (MPATA). Any graduate with a Diploma in acting/theatre arts or any graduate with 5-years of practical experience in theatre. Master of performing arts in theatre arts aims to provide both practical and theoretical aspects of theatre to the students. This course offers specialisation in direction, design and children's theatre to facilitate the students to take up a career related to these areas. This is to add to the above details that where there is no connection between the provider of the Master's degree and the students, the degree is a waste.
