Hi there, being an alumnus I would like to share some of the crucial points of Automobile Engineering: Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. The eligibility details are as follows which says that student must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&amp;For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The chances of you getting placed at a company solely depend upon you and not on anybody else for that matter. There is no set package that you receive after graduating. Job is used to sustain yourself while doing what you love. It isn't like that you provide money to the college to spend 4 years and after that, you get a job. You are getting educated and universities are not some job agencies so stop looking at a degree like that. Anyways, LPU gives great placements to capable students of automobile engineering. PLACEMENTS: The latest package offered to the students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme was 12 LPA from Quick Labs (2019-20) The majority opt for Teaching/Research. Hi Jaskaran, See, in India, there are very less automobiles manufacturing plants and in those, also almost all the jobs are grabbed by the top college graduates like graduates of IITs and IIITs and hence for the private colleges and also the state governed colleges there are very chances of getting job. So, choose accordingly.
