See, in India, there are very less automobiles manufacturing plants and in those, also almost all the jobs are grabbed by the top college graduates like graduates of IITs and IIITs and hence for the private colleges and also the state governed colleges there are very chances of getting job. So, choose accordingly. -
India has growth oriented Automobile Engineering industry and automobile components ancillary manufacturing industry . Slowing India is becoming a manufacturing outsourcing hub for Automobile components. Slowly Indian IT companies are diversifying in Engineering design. Therefore, career opportunities for Automobile Engineers is very good. If you still confused you are advised to take Mechanical engineering and then specialise in Automobile in M.Tech.
