IT and CS both are and will be hot engineering field in the foreseeable future. Engineering in both the branches have amazing future prospects. Most IT and CS courses overlap.
But before opting for CS engineering, make sure that the college you are opting for is a good one. -
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. Syllabus of graduation in Computer Science will includes subject as programming language, algorithms, data structures, logic and computation, complier construction, numerical analysis, Networking, artificial engineering etc. India is leader in IT industry. Therefore opportunities for CSE graduates will remain high for next few years. Based on cureent job opportunities its is a very good option in the field of engineering.
